Modern facilities ensure your event is a success

The Chellington Centre has been designed and fully equipped with modern facilities to ensure your special occasion or event is a great success. The large multi-use main hall in the original knave adds a special atmosphere to your day, and separate smaller rooms can be used for other activities.

Main Church Area

Main Hall

Occupying the original nave, the high ceilinged and brightly lit main hall is a flexible space for many types of activities.

• Spacious central room for dancing and parties
• Fantastic acoustics for musical events
• Can be set up theatre style for up to 80 people
• Tables and chairs can be configured as you need them for entertainment

Winnie Hall Room

Separated from the main hall by glass doors, the original altar area offers a separate activity room Up to 20 people can use this smaller room yet still be near the main hall activities.

Ibbett Room

In the new extension, the Ibbett Room brings the countryside into the centre with its semi circular wall of windows giving a panoramic view over the Ouse Valley. Another ideal space for separate activities.

Kitchen

Our kitchen has all the modern facilities you need for self-catering, or for outside caterers to serve from. The kitchen includes a large range cooker, fridge, microwave and freezer, as well as a hot cupboard. All crockery, cutlery and utensils also available. A counter between the kitchen and main hall allows for easy serving.

Although the Centre is primarily a self-catering facility, we have excellent relationships with local caterers and can arrange external catering on request. Just let us know your requirements when booking.

Garden

Extend your event outside into our garden - an inspiring space with immense views and countryside all around. There is space to pitch 4 tents, a large garden barbecue and camp fire circle.

Toilets and Showers

Separate ladies and gents toilets and showers, and a unisex accessible toilet and shower.

Presentation Facilities

A full range of presentation equipment including projector and screen, DVD player, speakers, OHP, flip charts, whiteboard and digital camera is available.

Parking

There is parking for 20 cars, with additional parking space available by arrangement. The car park allows enough space for a coach to turn with care.

Cleaning

Users of The Chellington Centre are expected to leave the centre clean and in good order. But if you'd like to leave the work to us, you can purchase the cleaning package for just £35 – if ordered before your hire. We've put together some guidelines here.
