ReachOut Plus is a charity passionate about helping people reach their full potential in safe and inspirational environments. The charity creates life changing experiences for young people, and the disadvantaged and the disabled of all ages. ReachOut Plus enables people to transcend their daily lives so they can experience:

• personal development
• a sense of achievement
• hands-on experience
• team building
• a feeling of belonging
• a sense of individual value.

Alongside The Chellington Centre, ReachOut Plus runs a fleet of specially adapted canal boats on the Grand Union Canal in Hertfordshire and respite holidays for children with special needs.

The Waterways Experience

Moored on the Grand Union Canal, near Hemel Hemsptead, the ReachOut Plus fleet of 3 canal boats offers the perfect getaway for groups of people with disabilities. With lifts for easy wheelchair access each boat can accommodate up to 12 people including up to 5 wheelchair users. The canal boats are available for hire by groups and for personal hire.

Enable Holidays

Enable Holidays extend the waterways experience to individual children with special needs, disabilities or from disadvantaged backgrounds between 11 and 18 years. Children enjoy a fun and friendly holiday in a specially equipped environment, whilst carers have much needed respite.
